About The Position

The Administrative Acquisition Specialist will provide comprehensive administrative acquisition support services to assist in the full range of administrative functions necessary for effective acquisition management and oversight. The role involves supporting Air Force Program Managers or Contracting Specialists in various phases of the acquisition process, including requirements planning, requirement package development, report production, and business rule maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in acquisition support.
  • Secret security clearance.
  • At least 24 Business credits or equivalent acquisition experience.
  • FAC-C or DAU DAWIA Level I certification in relevant fields.
  • Strong understanding of the government acquisition process.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with military customs and courtesies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in requirements planning, package development, report production, and business rule maintenance.
  • Prepare agenda topics, plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute minutes, and report closure of key initiatives.
  • Ensure administrative support efforts align with governance principles, government statutes, policies, regulations, and related guidance.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support AFAMS and AFDW/PK in managing various acquisition contracts.
  • Ensure actions comply with laws, regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, AFFARS), instructions (e.g., DoDI 5000.72, AFI 63-138), and local policies.
  • Develop and document various types of requirements.
  • Establish working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provide continuous accountability and scheduling coordination.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Program Coordinator (QAPC) and Program Manager (PM) with feedback and program changes.
  • Prepare and develop correspondence, reports, memorandums, presentations, and other forms of communication.
  • Participate as a Multi-Functional Team (MFT) member.
  • Manage acquisitions and requirements through the organization's management tool or system.
  • Liaison between the organization and Mission Partner for timely submission of requirement packages.
  • Review and track requirements using Air Force Service Management Tool (SMT) and applicable dashboards and databases.
  • Provide acquisition reports and advise on acquisition data.
  • Present findings and translate acquisition data into usable formats.
  • Maintain and collect acquisition data using various tools and statistical techniques.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining business rules to improve acquisition processes.
  • Recommend goals to improve acquisition tradecraft.
  • Maintain various acquisition documents and templates.
  • Provide assistance with Video Tele Conferences (VTC), Microsoft TEAMS Meetings, and SharePoint page updates.
