The Town of Brookline's Public Safety Business Office is seeking an Administrative/ Accounting Assistant to perform routine and complex clerical and technical work related to payroll, purchasing, and accounts receivable functions for the public safety business office. The Administrative/Accounting Assistant will assist with the daily operations of the office; collects data, processes information, maintains department records; and assists with the entire payroll process; works with other town departments, such as the Human Resources Department, Comptrollers Office, Retirement Office and other departments. Maintains PSBO purchasing records such as items or services purchased costs, delivery, product quality, and inventories. Performs other related work as required.
