About The Position

The position involves various responsibilities primarily focused on production and housekeeping within the plant. The role requires the operation of company vehicles and adherence to safety protocols while performing job duties.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Required PPE includes hard hat, hearing protection (ear plugs or ear muffs), steel/safety toe work boots, leather and nitrile gloves, and Lockout/Tagout lock

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading trucks
• Loading rail cars
• Loading trucks at Progressive Proteins
• Collecting samples from inbound and outbound product
• Cleaning hammer mill screen and magnet
• Operating company vehicles including pickup truck, shag, and JCB front end loader
• Using manual pallet jack on occasion
• Sweeping all areas of the plant using a leaf blower
• Emptying garbage bins and trash pickup in all outside areas of the plant
• Cleaning restrooms and stocking supplies
