Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma with computer experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a hospital setting or maintenance/service company is preferred.
  • Ability to hear, read, write, and converse in English.
  • Ability to understand maintenance problems.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to understand and instruct personnel concerning human resource information.
  • Ability to communicate with staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors, and others.
  • Ability to remain calm under stress.

Responsibilities

  • Receives incoming calls, takes and relays messages, and answers routine questions as necessary.
  • Completes requisitions, reports, records, and employee documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Types relatively complex or technical documents.
  • Establishes and maintains an efficient filing system for the department.
  • Participates in and supports a process to improve performance of services.
