About The Position

We have an opening for a full time ADMIN, FINANCE SUPPORT position at AstraZeneca located at 1 Medimmune Way, Gaithersburg MD 20878. This is a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves various clerical duties including answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing, word processing, office machine operation, and filing. The position requires previous finance coordinator experience.

Requirements

  • Previous finance coordinator experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process PO requests upon France's approval.
  • Create and submit MSAs/PSAs/Confidentiality Agreements.
  • Manage contract signatures with all DOA signatories.
  • Amend POs as needed.
  • Set up new vendors for GB Site Ops.
  • Troubleshoot vendor setup issues.
  • Provide Coupa/SAP troubleshooting for the MRO team.
  • Process rents and leases for GB site buildings.
  • Review invoices for approval and payment.
  • Execute month-end accruals.
  • Schedule meetings and coffee breaks.
  • Submit catering requests.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned.
  • Train other staff members to perform work activities.
  • Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages and run errands.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings and record/transcribe minutes.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Complete work schedules, manage calendars and arrange appointments.
  • Open and route incoming mail, answer correspondence and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Compile, copy, sort and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
  • Complete and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices and checks.
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners.
  • Type, format, proofread and edit correspondence, reports and other documents.
  • Review files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
  • Compute, record and proofread data and other information.
  • Process and prepare documents, such as business or government forms and expense reports.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.
  • Communicate with customers, employees and others to answer questions.
  • Collect, count and disburse money; perform basic bookkeeping; complete banking transactions.
  • Troubleshoot problems involving office equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
