About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a ADMIN ASSISTANT (MARKETING SPECIALIST) position at the University of Chicago. This role involves clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs, with a focus on marketing initiatives. The position is full-time with standard office hours, but flexibility to work evenings or weekends may be required for marketing events. The pay range is $30.00 to $33.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Previous marketing specialist experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns designed to drive sales and increase revenue.
  • Plan and implement marketing communication strategies, including preparing and delivering client-facing presentations.
  • Build strategic partnerships and host campus events to strengthen student engagement, retail activity, and revenue growth.
  • Identify marketing opportunities requiring visual solutions, conceptualize creative approaches, and deliver high-quality graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student's parents and Supervisor.
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
