About The Position

The Administrative Assistant in the IT department plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that support the team and facilitate effective communication and organization within the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous Administrative Experience.

  • Organization skills and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Responsibilities

  • Handles office tasks, such as filing, generating basic reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
  • Provides real-time scheduling support by booking appointments, managing calendars, and preventing appointment conflicts.
  • Screens calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
  • Prepares department status reports for tracking.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of department events and trainings.
  • Makes travel arrangements for team members.
  • Provides general administrative support.
