The position requires a strong understanding of complex federal regulations regarding student eligibility for financial aid, as well as the ability to generate new student financial aid files and prepare prior-year files for scanning and indexing. The Admin Assistant I will also be responsible for ordering office supplies, generating purchase orders, and managing the financial aid inventory. Additionally, the role includes providing clerical support and managing special projects for the Financial Aid Office Leadership Team, which may involve planning, coordinating, researching, and creating or recording information. Confidentiality is paramount in this position, as the assistant will handle sensitive information related to students and their records. The role also requires monitoring and responding to voicemail and email messages, ensuring that high-quality service is consistently delivered to exceed the expectations of customers.
