About The Position

The position involves greeting and assisting parents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner. The role requires answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate department. Additionally, the individual will schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for the director, manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, process orders, update student records, and assist with licensing. Maintaining office supplies and keeping the front desk area organized and tidy are also key responsibilities. The role includes assisting with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management, while working closely with the leadership team to ensure the health and safety of the students.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles, ideally in an early childcare / daycare environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • 90 hours certification in infant/toddler/preschool is a plus.
