The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the department. This role involves providing real-time scheduling support for department leaders, preparing specific department reports, and assisting with the planning and execution of department events, meetings, and trainings. The Administrative Assistant will also make travel arrangements for Department Leaders, coordinate seating charts, maintain supply cabinets and printer areas, and assist with the department library. Additionally, this position supports new hire onboarding, department upkeep, and various recognition programs as needed, while providing general administrative support.
