About The Position

Position Overview The Biology Department is seeking candidates to fill part-time instructor positions with expertise in Microbiology and Bacteriology. We welcome applications from those qualified to teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses. We seek adjunct faculty committed to teaching and working with our multicultural student population, teaching courses as needed at the undergraduate/graduate level.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a biological science.
• Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate instruction and to mentoring students.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching introductory biology and advanced courses including microbiology lecture and laboratory.
• Experience with nontraditional students and with an ethnically diverse student population.
