About The Position
This is a part-time position in the Welding Technology Program. Instruction is typically in the following courses: Welding Codes and Standards, Brazing Oxyacetylene, GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, and Submerged Arc Welding Processes.
Requirements
- An Associate's degree with three to five years related experience is required.
- Need thorough knowledge of welding processes including: Oxyacetylene Welding, Brazing, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Shield Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Flux-cored and Submerged Arc Welding, Blueprint Reading, Welding Codes and Standards, miscellaneous welding processes, and Layout and Assembly.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in teaching and training through a variety of delivery methods to a diverse student population is desired.
