About The Position

This position is responsible for teaching welding classes face-to-face. The instructor must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to, teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.

Requirements

  • 6000 hours of welding work experience OR an associate degree in welding technology and at least 3000 hours of recent, relevant tested welding experience
  • Expertise in GMAW, SMAW, Oxy-Acetylene, and GTAW welding
  • Knowledge of cutting processes, safety, and blueprint reading
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and good driving record
