Requirements

• Graduate degree in nursing with a doctorate degree preferred in nursing or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of two years experience of full-time registered nursing clinical experience
• Experience in teaching or clinicals preferred
• Curriculum or course development experience preferred
• Unencumbered RN licensure in Arizona or multi-state compact license for teaching BSN and MSN-DE programs
• Unencumbered RN licensure in California and state of residence for faculty teaching in post-licensure online programs
• Criminal background check and meet all requirements of clinical partners, if applicable

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse Educator or certification in specialty area preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitating Classroom and Distance/Distributed Learning
• Course and syllabus preparation
• Class curriculum coordination and planning
• Assessment and evaluation of learners
• Mentoring and advising of students
• Holding office hours and meeting with students
• Research/scholarship mentoring and supervision, particularly of MA theses, PsyD projects, and PhD, EdD, DBA dissertations
