Adjunct Surgical Technology Instructor

Fortis College - Houston South is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Surgical Technologist to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Surgical Technology program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Surgical Technology courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Associate Degree Required in Surgical Technology, bachelor degree preferred
- Certification in Surgical Technology
- At least three years of experience as a CST
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
