The Surgical Assisting Faculty supports learning on campus, in simulation, and through clinical experiences. Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. This position starts ASAP. The Surgical Assisting program is designed to prepare entry-level Surgical Assistants who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession. Accreditation will be pursued during the current academic year.
