HISTORY: Adjunct / Substitute Instructor POOL (college credit) Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions. 1. Master’s degree in History; OR, 2. Bachelor’s degree in History AND Master’s degree in Political Science, Humanities, Geography, Area Studies, Women’s Studies, Social Science, or Ethnic Studies; OR, 3. Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in History; OR, 4. The equivalent.
