About The Position

EARTH SCIENCE: Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions. 1. Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Meteorology, Oceanography, or Paleontology; OR, 2. Bachelor’s degree in Geology AND a Master’s degree in Geography, Physics, or Geochemistry; OR, 3. Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Earth Sciences, including Geography, Geology, and Geophysics; OR, 4. The equivalent.
