Adjuncts provide professional services on a part-time, as-needed basis. Employment is irregular, seasonal, or temporary. Temporary for Teacher Retirement System (TRS) is defined as a period of less than four and a half months in a fiscal year.
Bachelor's degree required
Adjunct pay is based on a daily rate from $169 to $600
Work unit rate equivalent to at least $844 per week
Salary deductions include withholding tax, Social Security, Medicare, and any other required taxes
Active Texas Teacher Retirement System (TRS) members will have TRS contributions deducted
