The School of Information Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in a range of areas supporting the MS in Library and Information Science, the MS in Information Management, and the BS in Information Science. We are particularly interested in instructors who can teach on campus. We encourage early applications for the following courses. Starting Summer 2026 202: Social Aspects of Information Technology (large course) 204: Research Design for Inforomation Sciences 206: Intro to Database Concepts and Applications 236: User Research and Evaluation 310: Culture as Data 312: Reading and Writing Data (research writing course) 324: Social Network Analysis 327: Concepts of Machine Learning 357: Intro to Data Storytelling 426: Museum Informatics 496: Computer Networks 505: Information, Organization, and Access 510: Libraries, Information, and Society 524: Data Governance 556: Internet of Things 594: Financial Management of Libraries Other areas include Prison Librarianship, Archives, Data storytelling, Law librarianship, Library outreach, community engagement, Library services with and for Indigenous peoples, Library social work, Research methods, social sciences (empirical, theoretic, computational), stochastic modeling, Object-oriented and functional programming (all levels), HCI, UI/UX , Technical project management.   • MS/MA or PhD in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
