About The Position

The Respiratory Therapy program is based out of our Altoona, PA campus, but this position will assist with precepting students for the program in Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center only. Clinical instructors provide primary supervision of students during clinical activities. They must be a resource to students at all times, review all documentation and maintain two-way communications throughout the assigned shift with the student. Clinical Instructors must also utilize instructional methodology consistent with YTI Career Institute's learning model to the levels and needs of individual students that will ultimately cause students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation. Teaching experience is NOT required; training provided.

Requirements

• Must be a current Registered Respiratory Therapist currently working at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
• 3+ years work experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current license in Pennsylvania as a RCP.
• RRT Certification required.
• Associates Degree from an accredited CoArc program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
