About The Position

Take in situ optical measurement on whole human blood
Use optical modelling to extract scattering and absorption coefficients.

Requirements

• BS in Physics or related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
• Minimum of one-year previous research experience in bio-optics related field of study
• Experience working with human blood
• Coding in Python for Data Analysis
• Previous safety training with Level 2 Biohazards
• Taking measurements with Integrating Sphere optical systems for determination of diffuse scattering
• This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
