About The Position

Widener University's College of Arts & Sciences is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach Psychology courses. Our immediate needs are for Introductory Psychology. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an 'as needed' basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day. Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials, be available to meet with students outside of regularly scheduled class time, and provide support and guidance to students.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• ABD or PhD in Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Teach specified Psychology courses, primarily Introductory Psychology.
• Prepare course materials and syllabi.
• Be available to meet with students outside of class time.
• Provide support and guidance to students.
