Aquinas College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach the lecture components of PHYS-202 (General Physics: Elect, Magnetism, Light) and PHYS-212 (General Physics with Calculus: Electricity) for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester. This is an on-campus, in-person position. Course descriptions: PHYS-202 General Physics: Electricity, Magnetism, Light An algebra/trigonometry based introduction to electricity, magnetism, harmonic motion, light and nuclear physics. This course is the second half of the two semester general physics sequence. It is recommended for students specializing in science. The course emphasizes quantitative and conceptual understanding of the topics in introductory physics without the use of calculus. Offered M, W, F 3:00-3:50 PM PHYS-212 General Physics with Calculus: Electricity A calculus-based introduction to classical physics and modern physics and the fundamental concepts of electricity, magnetism, light, and nuclear physics.
