About The Position

The Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design at Flagler College is responsible for teaching the ART 430 - Web Design Studio course, which covers advanced principles of web design, including interface design, content development, and usability. Requirements

  • Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in the teaching subject.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with all constituents.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a detailed syllabus for the course and distribute it to each student.
  • Maintain weekly office hours to meet with students outside of class.
  • Keep an accurate record of student attendance and report excessive absences.
  • Maintain an accurate record of grades and submit final grades promptly to the Registrar.
  • Seek ways to improve teaching effectiveness through evaluations and self-assessment.
