About The Position
As an Adjunct Professor in Nursing at Bryant & Stratton College, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of nursing students in a part-time capacity. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for teaching a range of nursing courses, which may include Fundamentals, Pharmacology, Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, OB, Mental Health, and Lifespan Development, depending on your qualifications and the needs of the program. Your teaching load will consist of 3 to 14 contact hours, and you will be expected to provide regular skills assistance and tutoring to students to enhance their learning experience. In addition to teaching, you will attend mandatory course and faculty meetings, collaborate with fellow nursing faculty to develop and evaluate course curriculum, and implement strategies aimed at improving student retention and success. Your availability to teach at various times, including day, evening, and weekend classes at the Wauwatosa, Bayshore, or Racine campuses, is essential. This role also includes other related duties as required, contributing to the overall mission of Bryant & Stratton College to provide real-world education that meets the needs of students and the community.
