About The Position

This pool accepts applications for potential openings for part-time instructors (Adjuncts) that may arise throughout the year and is not a guarantee of an open position. Adjuncts may be hired in a variety of departments/schools, including: Center for Nontraditional Learning (Online), Department of Humanities, Department of Natural Science and Mathematics, Hoff School of Business, School of Education, School of Ministry, School of Social Sciences.

Requirements

• Master's degree in related field for undergraduate teaching.
• Doctoral degree is required to teach graduate level courses.
• Candidate should value an environment that reflects the diversity of God's kingdom, engages in global concerns and connects culturally.
• Candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence a mature Christian faith.
• Candidate must be in agreement with the University's Statement of Faith and be committed to the integration of biblical principles throughout the teaching process.

Responsibilities

• Develop course schedules and syllabi.
• Identify and meet the learning needs of students.
• Perform biblical integration in line with Corban's Statement of Faith.
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessment instruments for students' progress and competence.
• Work closely and maintain consistent communication with the department chair to ensure instructional alignment with School of Ministry outcomes.
