Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School is currently recruiting Adjunct Professors for the Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education program. Instructional assignments are based in Pasadena, California , with opportunities for off-site and online teaching. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in an online format using a Learning Management System (e.g. Canvas).
- Commitment to Pacific Oaks College’s mission and social justice values.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Publications or research in early childhood education.
- Proficiency in Canvas LMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and online teaching tools.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level Early Childhood Education courses within the Master of Arts program.
- Engage adult learners through inclusive pedagogy.
- Assess student learning and maintain records.
- Foster respectful and supportive learning environments.
- Communicate professionally with students and academic leadership.
