Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School is currently recruiting Adjunct Professors for the Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education program. Instructional assignments are based in Pasadena, California , with opportunities for off-site and online teaching. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in an online format using a Learning Management System (e.g. Canvas).
  • Commitment to Pacific Oaks College’s mission and social justice values.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Publications or research in early childhood education.
  • Proficiency in Canvas LMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and online teaching tools.

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level Early Childhood Education courses within the Master of Arts program.
