About The Position

Rivier University's Division of Business and Security Studies seeks a qualified, credentialed candidate for Business Instructor -Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing business related (e.g., accounting, business management, finance, marketing, project management , and sport management) courses on-campus, face-to-face daytime instruction, twice a week, at the undergraduate level.

Requirements

• Master's degree is required, a terminal degree in Business related or highly related field is preferred. These fields may include Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, and Sport Management
• The successful candidate will have college-level teaching, academic program, and curriculum development experience
• The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University and to work collaboratively and collegially with departmental and institutional colleagues

Responsibilities

• Assume teaching, advisement, and mentoring responsibilities for students in the traditional face-to-face, in-residence, daytime, twice a week, teaching and learning model
• Undergraduate two daytime class meetings per week
• Participate in ongoing program growth and development, particularly with respect to the integration of technology throughout all program experiences
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, both in the d ivision and throughout the University
