This position centers on teaching online courses for the School of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering, with a primary focus on cardiovascular systems. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, emphasizing student engagement, accessibility, and academic success in virtual learning environments. The appointee will work closely with students across disciplines, helping them connect foundational engineering principles to cardiovascular applications. Candidates with expertise in areas such as cardiovascular fluid dynamics, vascular prosthetics and bioprosthetic design, cardiovascular solid mechanics, vascular tissue assessment, therapeutic technologies, regenerative approaches, vascular disease detection, and cardiovascular biomaterials are encouraged to apply, particularly as these areas inform innovative course development and student learning experiences. In this role, the faculty member will strengthen the Department’s online educational portfolio, mentor and advise a diverse student body, and contribute meaningfully to student-centered service activities. The position offers the opportunity to design and refine advanced coursework aligned with cardiovascular engineering while fostering interactive, supportive, and outcomes-driven learning environments.
