About The Position

The Adjunct Faculty Member is responsible for providing academic instruction to students for the assigned graduate courses under the direction of the Dean, Department Chair, or Program Director. This role involves delivering course curricula, assessing student performance, and advising students on their academic journey.

Requirements

• Possession of a master's degree from a graduate institution of recognized standing or equivalent experience and professional recognition.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction to students through lecture, lab, or performance courses.
• Assess and develop cognitive abilities, communication skills, and higher order thinking skills among students through appropriate assignments and activities.
• Advise and instruct students regarding programs of study and effective study skills.
• Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and student learning outcomes.
• Plan and organize instruction according to approved course outlines and student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current, accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, and student academic progress.
• Evaluate and select instructional materials in collaboration with discipline faculty.
