About The Position

Per Course Instructors should be qualified to teach MTH 101 or 103 Intermediate Algebra, MTH 130 Contemporary Math, MTH 134 Algebraic Reasoning and Modeling, MTH 136 Precalculus I, and MTH 450 Theory of Interest. We may also have need of Per Course instruction for MTH 320 Foundations of Mathematics for Teachers and courses in the graduate EMS program.

Requirements

• Qualified to teach MTH 101 or 103 Intermediate Algebra
• Qualified to teach MTH 130 Contemporary Math
• Qualified to teach MTH 134 Algebraic Reasoning and Modeling
• Qualified to teach MTH 136 Precalculus I
• Qualified to teach MTH 450 Theory of Interest

Nice To Haves

• Ability to teach MTH 320 Foundations of Mathematics for Teachers
• Ability to teach courses in the graduate EMS program

Responsibilities

• Hold office hours
• Submit grades according to University schedule
• Participate in group grading sessions (where used for particular courses)
