Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer. Postings close yearly and to maintain your application within the system, you will need to re-apply each year. NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors to teach courses in Behavioral Sciences: Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology. Positions are available days, evenings, and weekends. Rate of pay: $765 per credit hour

Requirements

• A Master's Degree is preferred in the subject area taught or a Master's Degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the specific discipline area for the transfer courses taught is required.
• Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs.
• Knowledge of campus and community resources.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs.
• Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.
• Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations.
• Ability to compile information into report form.
