About The Position

Bergen Community College is accepting applications for adjunct positions in its Computer Science, Engineering and IT Department for teaching opportunities in Welding for Spring 2026. The mission of the computer science and information technology department at Bergen Community College is to train and develop students in information technology, computer programming, database programming, network administration, web development, gaming, and overall computer science protocol.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or greater in Welding technology, Engineering or related field.
• Some teaching experience in a professional environment, high school, trade school or community college.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Welding, specifically GMAW and GTAW processes.
• Conduct classes in the evenings for a duration of 15 weeks.

Benefits

• Adjuncts with an Associate's receive $938 per credit, $950 for Bachelor's and $960 for Master's.
• Tuition Waiver for BCC courses for themselves or their dependents.
• ABP and 403b.
