About The Position

Bergen Community College is accepting applications for adjunct positions in the division of Health Professions for Spring 2026. The Division of Health Professions at Bergen Community College boasts ten fully accredited programs including Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Office Assistant, Nursing, Paramedic Science, Radiation Therapy Technology, Radiography, Respiratory Care, and Veterinary Technology. One year Certificate programs include Surgical Technology and Medical Office Administrative Assistant. Our comprehensive programs incorporate extensive clinical training as well as rigorous didactic courses. Graduates of the Health Professions programs are prepared for entry-level positions at hospitals, private offices, freestanding clinics, and research facilities. We are now accepting applications for the following fields: Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Health Science, Medical Office Assistant, Paramedic Science, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology, Veterinary Technology, and Wellness and Exercise Science.

Requirements

• Candidates must have relevant qualifications in the respective fields of study they wish to teach.
• Adjuncts must possess at least an Associate's degree for teaching at the Associate level, a Bachelor's degree for teaching at the Bachelor's level, and a Master's degree for teaching at the Master's level.
