Adjunct Nursing Instructor – Mental Health Clinical
About The Position
Northbridge University Nursing Program is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Mental Health Clinical Instructor to join our team. The Mental Health Clinical Instructor in Nursing will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings and laboratory environments. This position is for the ASN Mental Health clinical rotation. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to excellence in teaching and student success. The Faculty member provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment in their chosen field of study by utilizing teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing, and effective environment in an effort to actively retain and successfully graduate students from their program of study.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (unencumbered).
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Minimum two years of recent clinical experience in mental health/psychiatric nursing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required.
