About The Position

Provides supervision and evaluation of students within the clinical setting. Clinical experiences are with adult patients within medical surgical areas. Works one day per week, 12-hour shift. Requirements

• Master in nursing preferred, bachelor in nursing required.
• Experience in clinical education preferred.
• Experience in adult medical surgical nursing required.
• Must hold a current Kansas professional nursing license.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clinical education content for assigned course.
• Collaborate with the lead faculty for course.
• Supervise clinical activities effectively and assess educational outcomes appropriately.
• Maintain high standards as teachers and engaging students in laboratory and/or clinical educational settings.
