The position requires faculty members to have their academic degrees awarded by regionally accredited institutions in the U.S. Documentation must be provided to verify this. For degrees earned abroad, official transcripts must be submitted and evaluated by the appropriate academic unit. Additionally, qualification to teach in a specific field may be based on a combination of academic credentials, experiential credentials, and other relevant qualifications. The institution follows HLC Assumed Practice B.2, which allows for the determination of a faculty member's qualifications based on experience that is deemed equivalent to the required degree for the position. This experience must include a breadth and depth of real-world situations relevant to the discipline in which the faculty member will be teaching.
