About The Position

The School of Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time lecturer openings for the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year . Job Duties Part-time lecturers will teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, German and Slavic Languages and Literatures, French and Francophone Studies, Comparative Literature, or Asian Studies.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.

Responsibilities

• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Spanish
• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Italian
• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Portuguese
• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in German and Slavic Languages and Literatures
• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in French and Francophone Studies
• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Comparative Literature
• teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Asian Studies
