About The Position

The Department of Philosophy at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for Adjunct Lecturer openings. Job Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Philosophy. Candidates with Ph.D. degrees in the discipline may also be assigned to teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Adjunct Lecturers normally teach one to two courses per semester. The start date for Fall 2025 appointments is August 25, 2025. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all of the vacancies are filled.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in a related field is required.
