About The Position

The SUNY Polytechnic Institute seeks to hire part-time (adjunct) instructors for daytime, evening, and online courses primarily in the following disciplines: Psychology, Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Sociology. Adjunct instructors are needed to teach undergraduate Psychology courses. Ability to teach one or more of the following courses is required: Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, Learning and Motivation, Psychology of Personality, Industrial Organization Psychology, Psychological Testing, and Principals of Psychological Counseling.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in a related field from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Psychology and other specified disciplines.
  • Prepare course materials and deliver lectures.
  • Assess and grade student assignments and exams.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students.
