Adjunct Lecturer of Nursing (e-Learning Campus)-1

The Part-Time Adjunct Lecturer would work in the School of Nursing, teaching assigned online courses within the RN-to-BSN program. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- A master's degree with a major in nursing, OR A doctoral degree with a major in nursing, OR A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.), and a master's in nursing
- Applicant must also have a current, unencumbered Arkansas or multi-state RN license from a compact state or the ability to obtain Arkansas licensure prior to the position start date
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in online nursing education
- Ability to teach and mentor students throughout the nursing program
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Computer literacy and experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to maintain scheduled virtual office hours
Nice To Haves
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field, or current enrollment in a doctoral program
- Teaching experience and recent experience in nursing practice or nursing education in the area(s) of the program need
- CNE Certification
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned online courses and evaluate students in accordance with the School of Nursing guidelines
- Conduct online student learning activities designed to meet student and program learning outcomes
- Communicate with the School of Nursing Director, RN-to-BSN Program Coordinator, Course Coordinator, and students according to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and School of Nursing policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
