Benedictine University is seeking Adjunct Lecturers for the MPH Program at the Dalian, China campus. This part-time position involves teaching on a per-course basis, partnering with another instructor for each course. Classes are delivered both online and onsite in Dalian, China, in collaboration with Dalian Medical University. The position requires travel to Dalian over two consecutive weekends for in-person teaching, with travel expenses covered. The available class for Fall term 1, 2025 is PBHL 5506 Leadership and Management in Health Organizations, which explores management principles for health management professionals. The adjunct pay is $1,400 per contact hour for those with a terminal degree, totaling $8,400 for the class, plus travel coverage.
Responsibilities
- Teach the MPH course PBHL 5506 Leadership and Management in Health Organizations in Dalian, China.
- Partner with another instructor for course delivery.
- Prepare and deliver course content both online and onsite.
- Travel to Dalian for in-person teaching over two consecutive weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Public Health from an accredited non-profit institution, preferably a terminal degree.
- Specialty in health management with at least 18 graduate credit hours preferred.
- Experience working in the public health field.
- Experience teaching online or using online platforms preferred.
- Legal authority to work in the U.S.
