The master's in Engineering Management Program (EMP) at Merrimack College in the School of Engineering and Computation Sciences invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026 semesters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing formal learning in the online Engineering Management Program with primary duties being effective delivery of instructional material and course management (e.g., assessments, grading). Multiple instructors are needed with content expertise and professional applied experience (e.g., college-level teaching of relevant engineering management topics, professional employment in engineering management roles, etc.) for the following graduate courses: Engineering Project Management and Systems Engineering and Systems Thinking. At Merrimack, for the Engineering Management Program, we have six (6) teaching periods per year, all in an 8-week, online format: Fall 1, Fall 2, Spring 1, Spring 2, Summer 1, and Summer 2. Our online courses are offered with weekly synchronous sessions as well as asynchronous supporting content. Synchronous online sessions are scheduled for one weeknight per week, typically between 6 PM and 10 PM Eastern Time. Most EMP course sections have less than 20 students, with a limit of 29 students.
