The Nursing Adjunct Lecturer reports to the Associate Dean, Pre-Licensure Nursing and Dean, School of Nursing. The faculty member plans, organizes and teaches the pre-licensure curricula then provides timely assessment throughout the semester and outcomes at the end of each semester. The faculty will follow course content, provide students with timely feedback, improve student learning outcomes and participate in the systematic plans of evaluations. Participants will adhere to Regis College’s values and mission while also incorporating accreditation and professional criteria. The faculty will participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies to promote achievement of student learning outcomes. The faculty will maintain discipline specific professional membership, may participate in college meetings, and actively engage in service and scholarly activities. There are four possible classes to teach within the Associate of Science in Nursing program: NU 101: Foundations of Nursing Practice, NU 102: Adult Nursing Practice, NU 201: Family-Focused Nursing Practice, and NU 202: Comprehensive Nursing Practice.
