About The Position

The Department of Music, Theatre & Film at Saint Joseph's University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor: Jazz Ensemble Director, beginning in Fall 2025. Job responsibilities include leading the Jazz Ensemble in weekly rehearsals (Wednesdays 6:30 -9:15 PM) and in one on-campus performance each semester. Requirements

Master’s Degree in Music
evidence of successful teaching experience in leading a jazz ensemble at the college level
demonstrated experience as a performer

Nice To Haves

D.M.A. in performance and experience teaching in a liberal arts college setting.
