Adjunct Instructors SUMMER 2026 (Semester runs - 05/18/26 – 08/09/26) In-Person / Live Classes Salary: $1,098.45 per credit/contact hour. Eastern Maine Community College is seeking part-time, adjunct instructors to teach up to 12 credit/contact hours for the following courses: Concepts in Biology – BIO 100 Anatomy & Physiology I – BIO 127 Anatomy & Physiology II – BIO 128 General Microbiology – BIO 216 Technical Mathematics I – MAT 110 Technical Mathematics II – MAT 114 College Algebra - MAT 116 College Composition – ENG 101 Oral Communications – SPE 101 Introduction to Psychology – PSY 101 Introduction to Sociology – SOC 101 Introduction to American Sign Language I – ASL 101 American Sign Language II - ASL 102 Nursing – Clinical Adjunct(s) BSN, Maine RN license, and 2 to 3 years’ experience required. Master’s degree within the discipline required; PhD preferred; Depending on instructional discipline, professional experience may be considered. Instruct part-time undergraduate courses in individual, identified disciplines. The person will also be expected to provide effective instruction, advise students, and participate in campus events.
