About The Position

The College seeks to hire the best qualified candidate for each position. To support this philosophy and objective, the Human Resource Department provides a process to allow for a comprehensive search of candidates, inclusive of internal and external applicants. The Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences/Business (BSSB) is accepting applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach college level, dual enrollment courses in various disciplines including Administration of Justice, Business (Marketing, Management), Economics, Education, Geography, History, Psychology, and Sociology. Instructors will work with the BSSB division director and full-time faculty to prepare and deliver college course content, with common assignments, to students in the WCPS high schools.

Requirements

• Must be a current high school teacher with Washington County Public Schools.
• Meet the minimum standard for each program as set forth in the Adjunct Faculty Minimum Credentials document.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver college course content in assigned disciplines.
• Collaborate with BSSB division director and full-time faculty.
• Develop common assignments for dual enrollment courses.
