The Department of Communication at Oregon Tech seeks applicants to be considered for part-time course assignments in communication, writing, and speech, including general education classes and specialized classes for majors. Instructors are needed at the Klamath Falls and Portland Metro campuses. Online availability is also a plus. Candidates should be prepared to teach ten-week classes on one or more of the following: COM 111Z – Public Speaking SPE 321 – Small Group and Team Communication WRI 121Z – Composition I WRI 122Z – Composition II WRI 227Z – Technical Writing WRI 327 – Advanced Technical Writing WRI 345 – Science Writing (Course descriptions may be viewed in the Oregon Tech catalog: https://www.oit.edu/registrar/catalog) The department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in these areas. This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a part-time faculty interest pool, from which the department may identify applicants based on scheduling needs.
