The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual for a part-time, temporary Adjunct Instructor faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics to teach the PHARM 5928 Specialty Pharmacy Management-1 and PHARM 5929 Specialty Pharmacy Management-2 courses in the Masters of Pharmacy Business Adminiatration (MPBA) program. The School of Pharmacy, a leader and innovator in education, practice, and research, is one of 16 schools/colleges located on the Oakland campus, which includes the 6 schools of the health sciences. PittPharmacy ranks #10 among schools of pharmacy in total research funding and is known as an innovator in research, education, and practice. PittPharmacy partners with UPMC, one of the leading integrated health care delivery networks in the country, to provide state-of-the-art pharmacy services and patient care. The Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics is integrated with UPMC and provides leadership and management of pharmacy services, as well as clinical programs, including the Antibiotic Management Program, Ambulatory Care Programs, Medicine, Palliative Care, Oncology, Transplantation, Critical Care, and Cardiology.
